Measuring the effectiveness of LinkedIn – Survey

As a part of the Social Network Analysis course, we did a study on the effectiveness of LinkedIn for professionals. Our sample size turned out to be small and too concentrated. Although the assignment is officially over, I am still interested in knowing the reach and effectiveness of such a network on one’s professional life. So it would be great if you can spend some time and take up the survey

I would be soon publishing the report based on the number of entries collected. Needless to say, your personal data would not be shared with anyone.

  1. Hi Siva,
For my senior research project in highschool, I am making a presentation about how information and communications technology impacts a person’s social capital and the implications this has for professional development. For one of my claims, I am discussing the impact of LinkedIn on users and your research would be super helpful. Could you direct me to where you published your results or if you have found any similar research conducted could you direct me to that as well? It’s been hard to find these sorts of studies online and when I found yours I felt like I was finally being cut a break.
